A HIGHLY ACCURATE WORLD WIDE PROJECTION ALGORITHM FOR UTM

The UTM
projection formulas having an accuracy of 0.03 mm up to 4000 km from the central
meridian is described. It is furthermore demonstrated that the formulas are
valid passing the poles and that the formulas may project the entire earth with
a very small exception area near the two singularity points 90 degrees from the
central meridian on the equator.
An even
more precise development may be presented.
